Madylin's Bunny Farm

So hopefully this post will not indicate that Patrick and I are weird and crazy parents. By this I mean sometimes we make up songs and stories about Madylin. When Madylin was first born Patrick made up a song about her to the tune of the Beatles song, "Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band." Since then we have made up other songs to made up tunes that we sing to her. There are nicknames, like "Sugs." If you are around us a lot you have probably heard us call Mady Sugs. It is even shorter nickname for Sugar Baby. We started calling her Suger Baby because we always said she was so sweet she must be made out of sugar. Then we shortened it to Sugs. There are also stories we make up about her. The most recent one is that she has a bunny farm behind our house. If you've been to our condo it is "woodsy" behind our condo and where our sliding door and patio overlook. One day we saw 3 bunnies at one time nibbling in the grass. That day we declared that it was Mady's bunny farm, population 3. It didn't stop there. For the past week we ask Mady how her bunnies are doing and if she fed them. We even gave them names-Harry, Larry, and Jerry. We see them frequently outside and when we do I always take Madylin out to look at them. Please don't think we are crazy!! It is fun and if I don't document these stories we will forget them. :)
