Today Madylin starts Aqua Therapy! A lot of Madylin's friends go to Aqua Therapy and I have heard such amazing things about it we couldn't wait to get Madylin in!! Her PT, who is amazing and always on top of things, got us in with a therapist that does Aqua Therapy right out of her house! It is a bit of a drive for us however, to have Mady work in her environment is well worth the drive!! The therapist has a room attached to her house that is kept really warm. (Think indoor water park temperature!) Inside the room it is decorated very kid friendly with lots of "Finding Nemo" decor. So for Madylin to have this opportunity to have her therapy in a private room in a therapy pool with no other noise or other people was perfect! We are so excited to see Mady work in the water and get stronger.

These are pictures of her getting ready for Aqua Therapy. She has her Care Bear backpack all packed with her swimsuit, towel, and swim diapers!!

Now it looked like Madylin was excited to start Aqua Therapy here...unfortunately she didn't enjoy her first session at all! She cried almost the whole time. I was not in the water with her and I think she is going through a "stranger danger" phase right now. There has also been talk about a tooth coming in. Her PT thought she saw a little white bud and she also has been slightly warm and a little fussy. This will be Mady's first tooth! Hopefully Madylin will enjoy the next AT session a little more.
