We threw Mady's 1st Birthday party on Saturday, April 6th. We had the party at Immanuel Lutheran School (where Mommy teaches). We were blessed with many guests that came to celebrate this little girl!! Her party theme was "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star-" her favorite song! :)

I had asked a former camper (from my day camp counselor days) to take pictures for me so that I could enjoy the party! Caitlyn did an amazing job and she even took the time to edit them since lighting wasn't the greatest in the school. As you can see from the pictures we had a great time!!

Before the party Mady hung out with Grandma Koehn while the finishing touches were being done!!

Madylin is our little Super Hero. Everything she does is amazing and she continues to amaze us every day!

(My cousin's mom made this cape for Mady but not only did she make one for Mady but we had a cape made for every boy guest that attended the party! They turned out amazing!! Jill is SO talented!!)

The Set-Up...

 Since the party was held at Immanuel Lutheran School we used the school cafeteria for serving food and the gym for our guests to have fun!

 I made this banner for Madylin. It read "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Do you know how loved you are." Then underneath the banner are 11 stars with a picture of Mady from each month.

 Next to the present table were all of Mady's photo albums that I have made for her. She has 12x12 photo album from each month of her life. The little books were from her 3, 6, and 9 month photo shoots.

 Inside of the gym we had a bounce house for the kids to jump around in! They LOVED it!!

 The food spread!! We had salad, mostaccioli, chicken wings, mac & cheese, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!

Present Time...

At this point in the party Madylin was tired and hungry! Daddy did most of the present opening while Mady ate and slept. We did get a couple pictures of her participating though!

In addition to the cake we had a cookie decorating table for guests to decorate star cookies!

We also had a face painter!

I had to end the post with this ADORABLE picture of Madylin's cousin, Cooper, giving her a kiss. Is this not the sweetest picture you have ever seen???
