Gigi's Crawlers Group 4.13.13

Gigi's Crawlers Group
4.13.13

The second Saturday of every month Madylin goes to Gigi's Crawlers Group...hopefully to get her to learn how to crawl. Since she has the low muscle tone and poor strength in her arms she has shown no interest in crawling what so ever!! Part of me doesn't care she isn't crawling because I love to carry her around everywhere and we can sit and play without her on the move. The other part of me is sad she isn't crawling yet. The hardest part of being Madylin's Mom is watching her struggle and watching her cry when she has to work. It doesn't seem fair she has to work so much harder than other babies to do things that all other moms take for granted because it comes naturally to their babies. That is why Gigi's is such an amazing place to go! Crawlers is a free session for Madylin to get extra help from therapists in addition to her regular P/T.
This Crawlers group is led by a Physical Therapist and a Developmental Therapist. I have been so fortunate to have a mom and dad so close who would take Mady to Crawlers while I worked on Saturday's for a few months. This was a session that both my mom and my dad took her too as they have been the last couple months.
(I couldn't post all pictures since I didn't know some of the kids that were in the pictures. I didn't want to post them to the blog if I didn't know who they were!)
Mady is sitting in the Developmental Therapists lap.

A much needed applesauce snack after a work out!
