Today we were running early for Aqua Therapy. Mady's AT lives in a beautiful part of Bolingbrook and I always admire the scenery as we go to Lynda's house for Aqua Therapy. Since we had a little extra time today I decided to stop for a few pictures. Good thing my mom gave me her camera on loan because I took mine in to Best Buy yesterday for repairs!!

Madylin had her monthly Crawlers group this week at Gigi's Playhouse and I brought my camera hoping it would have fixed itself after a rest. I was sadly mistaken. :( It was still taking blurry pictures and I could only somewhat manually focus for shooting pictures. I did the best I could with what I was working with!!

We call this outfit Mady's sherbet outfit!

Philips Park Zoo 7.12.13

For years I have wanted to check out Philips Park Zoo in Aurora! When I was director of a day camp I looked into this location for a field trip but never had the time to preview it. Today we decided to go with some friends Michelle and Leigh & Devin. It turned out to be an amazing day! The grounds for this zoo were absolutely beautiful! When you walk up to the zoo there is a beautiful display of flowers and a fountain. There is also a free splash park!! The zoo is free too. This zoo in no way is up to Brookfield and Lincoln Park Zoo standards but it was nice to do something different and for young ones like Devin and Mady it was perfect. While at the zoo something went wrong with my camera. For some reason it stopped focusing automatically. You probably guessed I was VERY upset by this!! So there are not nearly as many pictures as I wanted to take and some are blurry but not bad enough you can't make them out. After exiting the zoo there was also a picnic area and a playground. We pushed Mady and Devin in the swings for quite sometime before leaving to get some lunch! Michelle was able to manually focus some of the pictures of the kids in the swing.
