After our last LMNOP class we headed to Santa's Village to meet up with Auntie Becca and Auntie Hannah's day camp. We went to Santa's Village last summer and it was an absolute blast so we had to come again!! Mady enjoyed the rides much more this time. She loved riding on the trucks and the antique cars with Auntie Hannah. Her face was hilarious as the wind blew in her face and when the antique car went into the car wash. Auntie Becca and Madylin always like to feed the animals together. Today they fed a donkey together. Mady loved it and actually reached out for the donkey! We also visited the petting zoo. We got up close to a pig, saw some different colors ducks, and got to pet and feed a baby camel. Madylin picked out a peacock feather to take home from the petting zoo. Before leaving we rode the sleigh ride and saw reindeer. The very last thing we did was we feed parakeets. If you know me well I don't like birds. At first I wasn't going to go in this building because there were free flying birds. Then I sucked it up and went in because I thought Mady might like it. It wasn't bad because they were only little parakeets. Then I found out we could feed them! They gave us a popsicle stick with bird food on it. When you held the stick the birds flew right on the stick to eat the food. Madylin loved watching the birds eat close to her. Then Mady realized I was taking her picture and she started smiling and only looking at the camera and not the birds. My little model sees the camera and immediate starts posing!!!

Final LMNOP Class 7.23.13

Final LMNOP Class

7.23.13

Today was our last LMNOP Class at Gigi's Playhouse. "Miss Rebecca" teaches the class and like all of Gigi's classes/programs Rebecca volunteers her time to teach this class. She is a Speech Pathologist but she recently told us that she got a job as a Preschool teacher for the upcoming school year. It will not effect Mady since when I go back to teaching we won't be able to attend Gigi's during the week but I know a lot of Mady's other friends will miss the class. The good news is she will be back next summer to teacher LMNOP again!! I took a lot of pics since this was the last class. The last pics we attempted to take a picture with Miss Rebecca and all the kids! Mady got her picture with Miss Rebecca alone as well. :) Also we all threw in money to purchase a gift card for Miss Rebecca to thank her for the wonderful job she did with the class. Zach presented her with the card at the end of class.

I am still without my camera so these aren't the best quality! :(
