Gigi's Fest

Today was an exciting day because we were headed to Gigi's Fest. Going to Gigi's Playhouse is exciting enough but today they were opening the brand new Playhouse in the new location. The new 10,000-square-foot facility in Barrington, IL including "GiGi University," the first progressive learning center for adults with Down syndrome. A unique component of GiGi University will be a business called "Hugs & Mugs." Participants will oversee all aspects of the mug-making business, including design and production. It was an exciting day to be a part of. We also, of course, got to see a lot of Madylin's friends. Some of them even got to walk down the red carpet for being the the Gigi's Playhouse calendar this year. Oh, and let's not forget about the pony rides!!
