Well our busy week ends with a bang! Three of my favorite activities back to back to back-Thanksgiving, getting our Christmas tree and decorating it, and now Koehn Family Fun Day (KFFD)!! It was a good day for Christmas shopping with the family! We ate lunch at the Grand Luxe and hit all our favorite shops to jump ahead on the Christmas shopping! So great to have Madylin spend the day with her favorite in the greatest city in the world! We loved the time with Macey and Cooper too! There were a lot of fun and silly moments!

 We've been getting our Christmas Tree from the same place for several years. This family comes down from Michigan and brings some pretty amazing trees down with them! Patrick, Mady, and I were planning on going with my dad to get our trees. When we got to the lot they weren't there! It was extreme panic mode because we had been supporting this family's business pretty much since we moved to Villa Park in the mid 90's. We always get our tree the day after Thanksgiving so now we had to look for a new place. We all remembered we always saw one on Roosevelt so we thought we'd give it a try. Would you believe that when we got there is was our MI family we had been supporting all along? They had other locations! Whew!

When we got home Madylin helped me tangle, I mean untangle the lights and garland! ;) Let the Christmas season begin!!
