So since Easter doesn't always fall on the same day each year this Easter was very different from last Easter. Last Easter Madylin Mae made her grand entrance into the world! Today I realized that all of Mady's "firsts" are over, which made me a little sad. We do have her first birthday to look forward to but after that no more cute outfits that say "My First Halloween," "My First Christmas," "My First Valentine's Day," etc. This made me sad. Then I realized we have so many more firsts to look forward to! Her first tooth, her first haircut (which is already scheduled), the first time she crawls, and the first time she says "Mama." We have so much to be thankful this Easter. The death and resurrection of our Lord and also the beautiful daughter that God has blessed us with.

We went to church early Sunday morning with GrandPahnke, Granadine, and Aunties Becca & Hannah. When we got home Mady got to look at her Easter Basket. Inside was a lamb (pretty sure Mady's favorite animal) with an Easter dress and Easter shoes. She also got gold and silver eggs with puffs and yogurt melts inside. She looked so beautiful in her Easter dress!

After a nap we went to Uncle Joey and Auntie Becca's for brunch. Both Mommy and Mady weren't feeling that well so we just visited while everyone else ate. Then it was more Easter baskets! Mady was a very lucky girl!!
