Woke up around 2:30am on Sunday morning with contractions. Had been having contrations a couple nights before so went back to sleep. Only slept for about 10 minutes more to wake up to more contracions. Waited until contractions were around 3-5 minutes apart and departed for the hospital. We arrived at the hospital around 4:45am to find out that we were already 6 centimeters dialated. By 7:30am we were at 10 centimeters and ready to meet Madylin!

| Madylin arrived at 7:49am on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. She weighed in at 8 pounds and 1 ounce. She was 21 inches long. Madylin was soon diagnosed with Down Syndrome. It was love at first sight for us. She was the most beautiful baby we had ever seen! |

| Grandpa & Grandma Pahnke were happy to meet me too! Grandma Pahnke was there at my arrival in the delivery room and my Grandpa Pahnke, Aunts, and Uncles all came after church to meet me. |
